Tuesday Support Group Grows to Forty; No One Has Left

The divorce support group that meets on Tuesdays has grown to forty members, up from six in the spring. No one has left.

Members describe the meetings as helpful. They have also acquired a chant, a shared position on whether the others were ever really trying, and a habit of arriving early for a seat near the bird who started it. Asked how long he intended to keep attending, one member said he had not been aware there was an end.

The Clerk's Office, asked whether the group needs a permit, said it does not, and asked not to be listed as a point of contact.

Avian Municipal Nest Court — Branch Division

Continuance — AMNC-2026-016B

Finch v. Finch. Separate branch maintenance. The motion to divide jointly held materials has been continued a fifth time. Each party blamed the other for the delay; neither would go first.

The Court has ordered that any further continuance be entered jointly, on its own motion, so that neither party need admit to wanting it. Clerk: T. Nuthatch.

FREE: one chest freezer, full

Meals portioned for two, labeled and dated, going back to the spring. I kept cooking for both of us out of habit, and the habit outlasted the marriage. Collection from the south lane; bring a bag.

MALE, CROW, 44

I keep things. Bottle caps, a single earring, every receipt from a marriage I am told is over. My ex had a word for it; I prefer "collector." Seeking someone who sees value where others see clutter — and I have, by volume, a great deal of value.

Discreet Observation · Hand-Illustrated Reports

I watch, I wait, and I render what I see in ink. I will document comings, goings, and the occasional male who paused at the gate longer than he meant to.

In the interest of honesty: I grow attached to my subjects. By the second day I am usually on their side. If you need someone caught, I am not your bird. If you need someone seen, I am taking new clients.

"He did not find what I asked for. He found something kinder, which I did not want and have not stopped thinking about." — former client

Rates negotiable and frequently waived. Bird seed accepted.

Find me at the south parking lot. I am the blue one.

Letters to the Editor

Dear Editor,

I supported the noise ordinance, and I support it still. I am writing to ask whether it covers chanting.

The Tuesday group has begun a practice at 4:44 in the afternoon — afternoon, I grant them — which they call devotional and I call carrying. Ordinance 9.3(a) addresses singing before sunrise; it does not address this. I am not asking the district to act. I would just like it on the record.
