The Office of the Clerk maintains the public records of the district — filings, notices, and the Ordinance Code. It does not provide opinions on who was right. It has opinions. It does not provide them.

I want to…

Most residents want one of the following. The nest is usually a pretext.

Public Notices

Listed reverse-chronologically. A notice records how a matter was processed, not who was right.

Notice 26-114 · May 18, 2026

Public notice is hereby given that the following items remain unclaimed at the Clerk's window: one (1) wedding band, listed twice and reduced once; one (1) photograph, one party removed by careful tearing; and one (1) zip tie of disputed provenance, claimed by two parties and released to neither. Owners may claim them on presentation of identification. The photograph in particular.

Notice 26-110 · May 11, 2026

Public notice is hereby given that the petition concerning the telephone wire above the south lot AMNC-2026-022A has been dismissed. Asked separately, both parties wished the wire left as it is. The Clerk's Office could not locate the dispute described and has left the wire as it is.

Public notice is hereby given that the quiet-hours review under Ord. 9.3(a) AMNC-2026-011A has concluded. The Court found that 6:29 AM is before 6:30 AM. The resident, having sung once within quiet hours, is found to have made his point and is not required to repeat it.

Notice 26-087 · March 7, 2026

Public notice is hereby given that the fax line remains not operational. The Clerk's Office has been asked whether "not operational" means broken or disconnected. The answer is yes.

Frequently requested

Information

How do I file for nest abandonment?
Through the eCourt Public Portal or at the window. Include the nest, the date of departure, and evidence of where the respondent went. "He knows what he did" is not evidence.
May I observe a proceeding?
Three matters are open to gallery observation through the eCourt Portal. Observation is not attendance and does not count toward community service hours.
Where did the respondent go?
The Clerk's Office does not know. In one matter the Court made no finding as to where the respondent went — only that he has not come back.

Filing Rejected

The Clerk's Office has reviewed your submission. Your reported wingspan is inconsistent with any registered resident species, your typing pattern suggests the use of fingers rather than a beak, and your description includes vocabulary not typically produced by birds.

This form is for residents of the Avian Municipal District. Humans are not residents. Humans are, in the Clerk's experience, a significant source of noise themselves.

This filing has not been processed. The Clerk's Office wishes you a quiet evening.
